How to turn off the youth vote 101

Brilliant, brilliant moves by Joe and Hillary.

There is a new documentary coming out about the "evils" of video games.  And, of course, Holy Joe gets some face time talking about how the video game industry better regulate themselves before they force the government to step in.

The first video is a trailer for the documentary:

The next is a response that links Lieberman to Clinton

I'm not going to go on and on about this, but if the mainstream Dem position is that we need to regulate video games cause they are scaaaaaary, well, dumbness is fun I guess.

Lieberman is a mainstream Dem? (none / 0)

Since when did we let him back in the party?

Re: How to turn off the youth vote 101 (3.00 / 1)

I was invited to address a highschool history class in Mt Horeb, WI a couple weeks ago, on the subject of marijuana legalisation. Intro'd as a US Senate candidate in the Dem primary last fall.

Afterwards, several of the kids escorted me to the office to turn in my hall pass, told me they'd had their (D) Assembly Rep, Sondy Pope-Roberts as the speaker 2 days previous, touting her videogame censorship bill.

"What a dork."

"I'm never voting for her."

I'd cornered Sondy when she first proposed the bill, summer '05, and she  claimed "the pollsters (Hillary's?) say this polls higher than anything." Her press release claims "86% of 16 year old boys play these games." Why would a Party looking at the future want to alienate  86% of this demographic?

Great news for the Libertarians, tho.

DLC crackpots have been running this game since before there was a DLC.  Cf.: Tipper Gore
